Shortly after giving her testimony at the Ministry Church in Ejigbo, Lagos State, a woman only known as Ifeoma is said to have passed away.
On Sunday, September 8, at around 8.48 a.m., Ifeoma, 55, was said to have collapsed on the church alter while giving her testimony.
Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos Police Command, confirmed the event and stated that the woman was singing songs of thanksgiving in front of the church before she went to give her testimony.
When Ifeoma suddenly collapsed, she was rushed to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead, according to Hundeyin.
The zonal accountant of the church in Ejigbo reported the occurrence to the command, the police spokesman continued.
He claimed that when command personnel were assigned to the hospital, they learned that the deceased woman’s family had already transported her body to Anambra state, where she was born, for her funeral.
