Sunshine Rosman, the Nollywood actress, has signed out from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) after seven years of study.The award-winning film star announced the milestone on Instagram on Tuesday, sharing photos from her sign-out ceremony.

She described her time at the university as challenging but credited her friends for helping her persevere.

She also expressed gratitude to God and acknowledged her friends for being part of the journey.“These past seven years have been challenging but we overcame & we really did it together!” she wrote.

“Thank you Lord & thank you my friends.”

Born to a Nigerian mother from Imo state and a Canadian father, Sunshine began her career as a model alongside her sisters before moving into small acting roles in 2015; she, however, gained popularity for her role in the 2024 film ‘Perfect Match.

She has since featured in several Nollywood films, including ‘When Love Strikes’ and Netflix’s hit movie ‘To Kill A Monkey,’ where she played the role of Amanda Sparkles.

Some of her other movies include ‘The Waiter,’ ‘When Love Strikes,’ ‘Cloud 9,’ and ‘Things We Do For Love.’

The actress has also modelled for brands such as Melira, Miel Official, and Shop Riran, among others.
