U.S. President Donald Trump has been declared in strong overall health following a routine medical examination, though doctors have advised him to adopt healthier lifestyle habits, including weight reduction.
The assessment, carried out at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, reviewed the president’s heart, lung, neurological, and general physical condition. Medical officials concluded that he remains fully fit to carry out his duties as head of state.
The evaluation also included diagnostic tests as part of his routine physical, marking his third medical check since returning to office.
According to the report, U.S. Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, who serves as Trump’s physician, said preventive guidance was issued during the visit. This included advice on improving diet, increasing physical activity, and continuing efforts toward weight management. He also noted that the president is currently on medication for cholesterol control and takes low-dose aspirin for heart health.
The report indicated that Trump’s weight has increased compared to his previous examination, rising from 224 pounds to 238 pounds.
Doctors also observed minor bruising on his hands, which was attributed to frequent handshaking combined with aspirin use, a combination that can make bruising more likely.
Despite these observations, the medical team concluded that Trump remains in excellent condition and fully capable of performing his presidential responsibilities.
