President Bola Tinubu participated in the Eid-el-Fitr prayers on Sunday, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, at the National Eid Prayer Ground in Abuja.

The president arrived shortly before 9 a.m. and was greeted by key government officials and religious leaders, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.

“This year’s Eid celebration is special for me as I join my fellow Nigerians in the capital for the prayers,” Tinubu shared after the event.

For the first time since assuming office, the president will also host guests for a lunch at the State House, in a departure from previous celebrations, which were held at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos.
