President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she marked her 65th birthday on Sunday, describing her as the “steady flame” in his life and a silent pillar of strength for the nation.

In a message released from the Presidential Villa, Tinubu praised the First Lady’s resilience, grace, and unwavering support through the years, noting that her sacrifices behind the scenes have been as vital to Nigeria’s journey as his own public service.

“You are more than my wife. You are my confidant, counsellor, and the steady flame illuminating my path,” Tinubu wrote. “In you, our children and grandchildren see compassion and faith, and in you, our nation sees the true strength of womanhood — resolute yet tender, humble yet firm.”

The President recalled their journey from years of political struggle and exile to their current roles in national leadership, crediting Oluremi’s patience and devotion as an anchor through turbulent times.

“Every sacrifice you made quietly, every burden you carried without complaint, you have served this country as surely as I have — not from the podium, but from the heart of our home,” he added.

Tinubu also expressed gratitude to God for her life and prayed that the years ahead bring her joy, peace, and fulfilment.

“Happy 65th birthday, Oluremi. Your love is a treasure I hold dear. I love you more than ever, and I am blessed every day by your presence,” he said.
