Supreme Court on Monday affirmed the election of Hyacinth Alia as the governor of Benue State.

The Apex Court dismissed the appeal filed by candidate of the People’s Democratic Party Titus Uba.

Earlier the governorship election petition tribunal and the court of appeal in Abuja had affirmed the victory of Alia who belongs to the All Progressives Congress.
