South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has urged North Korea to restart talks, signaling hopes for a fresh era in relations between the neighbors.

 

Speaking on the 107th March 1 Independence Movement Day, Lee stressed that Seoul would make every effort to reopen dialogue with Pyongyang to promote peace on the Korean Peninsula.

 

The appeal comes as tensions remain high, with North Korea continuing military developments, highlighting the importance of renewed diplomatic engagement.
