Senate on Tuesday held a valedictory session to pay tributes in honour of late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who until his demise on July 27, 2024 represented Anambra South Senatorial District.

Lawmakers took turns to eulogise the late Senator saying his sad demise is a huge loss not just to his state but the country at large.

In a remark, President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, said Ubah’s death was a huge loss to the Senate, the National Assembly and the All Progressives Congress.

Senator Akpabio who also consoled with the immediate family of Senator Ubah, said the late politician until his death at 52 was an accomplished lawmaker and businessman.

According to him, life is never truly forgotten if one makes impacts on the life of others.
