The Presidency has clarified that the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, met with President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday afternoon.
This according to them is contrary to reports that the Minister was “summoned” by the President over the controversy surrounding alleged financial infractions by the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, a source told THE VANGUARD.
The Interior Minister has been linked to some financial transactions with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs through a company he was said to be interested in.
The company reportedly got over a N400 million contract from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
The agenda of the meeting was however not made public.
