The Nollywood title Oversabi Aunty, produced by actress Toyin Abraham, has raced past the ₦380 million milestone just 11 days after debuting in cinemas.
FilmOne Entertainment disclosed the box office performance via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, hailing the movie’s momentum as an “Oversabi box office takeover.”
Verified figures released by the distributor show that the film had generated ₦382,897,436 as of 3 pm on December 29, 2025, with takings still rising. The update also confirmed that Oversabi Aunty finished as the second-highest-grossing movie of the weekend.
According to FilmOne, the comedy-drama also recorded Nollywood’s second-biggest opening of 2025, underscoring its strong pull among cinema audiences nationwide.
“Oversabi Aunty with an Oversabi box office takeover! World Best for a reason!!! Thank you, West Africa, for showing up big!” the post read.
The distributor added that viewer response has exceeded expectations, describing the turnout as “unreal,” and urged film lovers to keep supporting the title in cinemas across the country.
