The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has praised Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for appointing two indigenes of the state, Samuel Badekale and Haroun Adebakin, as Education Ambassadors.
Both students emerged as the best graduates of the University of Lagos, scoring a perfect 5.0 GPA.
Governor Abiodun also presented them with N10 million each in recognition of their exceptional academic achievements. NANS Vice President, Akinbodunse Sileola, described the gesture as “unprecedented and noble,” highlighting that no previous administration in Ogun had matched Abiodun’s commitment to rewarding academic excellence.
Sileola added, “Governor Abiodun’s support motivates students to strive for excellence,” calling for other states to emulate his approach to educational investment.
