Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has met with Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Ali bin Ghanem Al Hajri, as the envoy concludes his tenure in Abuja.
During the meeting, both officials discussed ways to strengthen the growing cooperation between Nigeria and Qatar, particularly in areas such as trade, investment, and energy. Tuggar praised the ambassador for his efforts in promoting closer relations between the two nations and acknowledged Qatar’s continued partnership with Nigeria on regional and international issues.
Dr. Al Hajri expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government for its hospitality and support during his diplomatic service. He reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to deepening collaboration with Nigeria and building on the progress achieved under his tenure.
The meeting reflects ongoing efforts by both countries to enhance bilateral relations and explore new opportunities for mutual development.
