A disagreement between two lawmakers erupted on Sunday after Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan accused her colleague, Senator Osita Ngwu, of removing her comments from a private senators’ WhatsApp platform.

Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, went public with the issue through a post on her verified Facebook page. In the post, she demanded that Ngwu, the senator representing Enugu West, restore her deleted messages and reopen the comment section on the group. She warned that failure to do so would push her to release details of the discussion to the public.

Her message immediately triggered reactions across social media, with many Nigerians urging her to disclose the full details. Some commenters described the dispute as unnecessary drama among lawmakers, while others encouraged her to make the conversation public to promote transparency.

The incident adds to ongoing tensions involving Akpoti-Uduaghan, who has been in the spotlight this year following her clash with Senate President Godswill Akpabio over allegations of harassment.

The senator has continued to maintain an active presence on social platforms, where she frequently addresses political matters and defends her positions. Her latest public outburst follows recent tributes she paid to the late Senator Okey Ezea, whom she described as a supportive colleague.

The Senate has not issued any official comment on the reported disagreement between both lawmakers.
