In a fresh twist to the ongoing feud between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Natasha’s husband, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, has revealed that his wife had confided in him about her troubling interactions with Akpabio.

Despite an agreement to resolve the matter amicably, Uduaghan disclosed that his wife continued to endure harassment.

“I have unwavering faith in my wife’s loyalty and am fully committed to our marriage, which is grounded in love, compassion, and mutual respect,” Uduaghan stated.

“I would never trade her for anything, as she is the greatest joy of my life.” He further emphasized that his wife’s concerns persisted despite previous discussions with Akpabio.

Uduaghan called on the Senate and Akpabio to treat his wife with the respect and dignity she deserves, while the relevant authorities and courts look into the allegations.

“My wife is a devoted partner, and the bond we share is deep and unwavering. She has always remained truthful, even in the face of adversity,” he added.

Former Senate President Dr. Bukola Saraki also joined the conversation, urging for a transparent investigation into the accusations against Akpabio. Saraki stated, “An investigation is needed to find out the truth and protect the integrity of the Senate.”

Meanwhile, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan responded to Akpabio’s wife, Mrs. Unoma Akpabio, who filed a N250 billion lawsuit for defamation. Natasha advised her to “leave the defense to your husband and protect your sanity and family.”

The Kogi senator stands firm in her allegations and has evidence to back her claims, emphasizing that the accusations should remain between the Senate President and herself.

The dispute began after Natasha refused to sit in a designated seat in the Senate, citing Order 10 of the Senate Standing Rules, with tensions escalating following claims of sexual harassment by Akpabio.
