The Chairman of the APC UK Chapter, Hon. Tunde Doherty, has commended the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology for its bold and strategic leadership in Nigeria’s tech space, particularly with President Tinubu’s appointment of Engr. K. Raji as Director General of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI).
Speaking at the official launch of the NEXTGEN Innovation Challenge 2025 in Abuja, Hon. Doherty described Engr. Raji as a transformative leader who has significantly raised the visibility and impact of the NBTI.
Hon. Doherty stated that Engr. Raji has brought the National Board for Technology Incubation to the fore. Many Nigerians who had not heard of the board in the past now recognize its vital role in driving innovation and supporting homegrown talents.
He praised the initiative as a crucial step in nurturing tech-savvy youths and building an innovation-driven economy, stressing that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is laying the foundation to make Nigeria not just a continental leader, but a global technology hub.
