At least eight people have been killed in Israeli strikes on the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, which damaged the hospital’s surgical department, according to Palestinian media.
The hospital was bombed and struck with shells and missiles, Wafa reported, while troops fired “at anyone moving outside the hospital door”.
The bombing is said to have hit the women’s surgical department and injured doctors performing operations.
At least 5,000 civilians are also sheltering inside the hospital, said its director Dr Marwan Al Sultan.
