Sixteen housemates are currently at risk of eviction from the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’ house following the conclusion of this week’s nomination process.
The nominations commenced on Monday evening shortly after Neche was crowned head of house (HoH) for week three. This was after she defeated Chimsom Chuka in this week’s challenge.
In the diary room, each housemate was tasked with saving three fellow contestants. Bluethopia, Cassi and Gerard had the most saves and were initially declared safe.
Neche exercised her HoH power to remove one of the saved housemates and she chose Gerard.
The decision resulted in only Bluethopia, Cassi and Chimsom – who won the most influential player for the previous week – securing immunity. They will automatically progress to week four of the competition.
The remaining 16 housemates — Abi, Araga, Bells, Bluethopia, Cassi, Flora, Gerard, Kamsy, Keivo, Neche, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Sultex, Temi Nkem and Yusuf — will now depend on public votes to escape eviction during Sunday’s live show.
Flora and Aikou who were recently voted as “The Gambits” of the season, are not up for eviction as they have been granted a place in the finale – however, the remaining housemates are unaware.
Martins and Mercedes became the first BBNaija ‘Show Ya Sef’ housemates to be evicted from the reality show.
The 2026 season premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates. This year’s winner stands to claim a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million, the largest payout in the reality show’s history since its debut in 2006.
