
President Bola Tinubu hosted his first Eid-El-Fitr homage at the Presidential Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja, on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
The event, which began at 12:16 pm, was attended by various dignitaries, including lawmakers from the Federal Capital Territory, area council chairpersons, traditional rulers, and leaders of both the Christian and Muslim communities.
The event opened with prayers led by Dr. Timothy Amazon, Chairman of the FCT Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, and Prof. SAS Galadanci, Murshid of the National Mosque.
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who headed the delegation, addressed the guests, offering opening remarks.
The event was also attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Minister of Information Mohammed Idris.
The guests presented cards to President Tinubu, marking the occasion, which highlights unity among the diverse communities in the country.
