Popular Nigerian skit maker, Zicsaloma, has addressed the public’s criticism regarding his decision to undergo rhinoplasty, revealing that the procedure was a personal choice to address long-standing insecurities.

In a YouTube video posted on Friday, the content creator shared that he underwent the surgery in January 2025 in Turkey to reshape his nose and fulfill a childhood desire to correct his flat nose.

Speaking about his motivation, Zicsaloma explained: “Some people undergo rhinoplasty because of breathing problems, while others do it because they don’t like the shape of their nose—like me. In my case, it is aesthetic.”

He further opened up about the bullying and ridicule he faced as a child due to his nose, stating: “Right from childhood, I have always wanted to reconstruct my flat nose. I was constantly ridiculed. People said my nose was too ugly and too big.”

Addressing the backlash on social media, Zicsaloma urged people not to judge others for their decisions: “So, if you don’t have the money or the courage to correct your insecurities, that doesn’t mean you should judge another person.”
