Veteran Nollywood actor, Columbus Irisoanga, who is well known for his perfect interpretation of the role of a native doctor in movies, is dead.
Another veteran Nollywood actor, Hilda Dokubo, announced the death of Irisoanga on Thursday via an Instagram post.
Dokubo shared the news with the caption, “Our uncle Coli @colu_mbusirisoanga has gone to be with the lord. Ikoli eh dein na mu.
“There can’t be a shortage of angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport Rivers State Nollywood.”
Irosanga, who hails from Rivers State, was not just veteran actor and television personality, he was also a senior lecturer at the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Port Harcourt.
He starred in numerous movies, with one of the most notable being Issakaba released in 2003.
