President Bola Tinubu will embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State today, Saturday, February 14. During the visit, he is expected to inaugurate several projects completed by the state Governor, Nasir Idris.
Tinubu will also serve as the special guest of honor at the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fishing and Cultural Festival, one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural events. The festival, held along the historic Matan Fada riverbank, is recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
In addition, Tinubu is scheduled to formally welcome Abba Yusuf into the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday. The reception will take place at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. Yusuf recently resigned from the New Nigeria People’s Party, citing prolonged internal crises and leadership disputes as reasons for his defection.
