President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, as he continues his three-week holiday in Europe.

The President left Abuja on August 30, 2026, beginning his vacation in London before travelling to Paris for the second part of his leave.

Tinubu was received in Paris by Nigeria’s Ambassador to France, Ayodele Oke, according to visuals made available by officials.

The President is expected to return to Abuja at the end of his holiday and join preparations for the January 2027 general election campaign, according to a statement previously issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Paris remains one of Tinubu’s most frequently visited foreign destinations since he assumed office in May 2023. The President has travelled to the French capital at least 13 times, spending more than 50 days there across official, working and private trips.

A tally of his international engagements showed that Tinubu has spent more than 270 days outside Nigeria since taking office, visiting at least 30 countries across 51 trips. His foreign travels have covered about 260,000 nautical miles and more than 400 flight hours.
