Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, has landed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the 2025 edition of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), which is set to run from January 12 to 18.
The summit, themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” will bring together global leaders to advance sustainable development.
Tinubu’s visit comes at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, he was warmly received by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE.
The Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, shared the news on X, writing, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrives in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he is received by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE.”
During the event, Tinubu is expected to highlight his administration’s key reforms in energy efficiency, transportation, public health, and economic development.
He will also engage in discussions with UAE leadership to deepen bilateral relations and explore potential economic and diplomatic partnerships.
Accompanying the President on this important visit are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and APC Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje.
