The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has distanced himself from the rearrest of popular TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, aka ‘SeaKing,’ who is facing allegations of cyberbullying.
Speaking during the RCCG’s monthly Holy Ghost Service at Redemption City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Adeboye clarified that he had no connection to the incident.
“I heard there is someone who lambasted me thoroughly. What is my offence? Because I asked my people to fast for 100 days. I didn’t ask him to,” Adeboye said.
The renowned pastor explained that SeaKing’s remarks, which angered some individuals, led to his arrest.
“I didn’t even ask anyone who is not a member of RCCG to fast. I was told some people got so angry and went to arrest the fellow. Release him, he’s fulfilling prophecy,” Adeboye added.
The statement comes as SeaKing remains at the center of controversy, with his supporters voicing concerns over his treatment.
