Nigerian dancer Poco Lee has reportedly been released in the United Kingdom after the complainant in a sexual offence case allegedly withdrew her complaint.

The claim was made by social media influencer Peller during a livestream while responding to questions about the dancer’s reported detention.

Peller said the woman had decided to discontinue the case, which he claimed subsequently resulted in Poco Lee’s release.

Poco Lee had previously been reported to be on remand in a UK prison following allegations of sexual offences. A court hearing was also reportedly scheduled for September.

However, there has been no independent confirmation from the UK court or prosecution authorities that the complainant withdrew the case or that Poco Lee was released as a result.

The latest development therefore remains based on Peller’s account pending confirmation from the relevant UK authorities.

Poco Lee, whose real name is Iwe Pascal, is a prominent Nigerian dancer and entertainer known for his work in the Nigerian music industry.
