The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has raised its petrol gantry price to N995 per litre, up N221 in just four days.
Analysts say the increase could push retail pump prices above N1,050 per litre in several locations, as global oil costs and transport expenses rise.
The refinery explained that its pricing now reflects international crude oil trends, logistics, and operational costs under Nigeria’s deregulated petroleum market.
Data from the Major Energies Marketers Association of Nigeria shows imported petrol remains cheaper than Dangote’s product, highlighting a widening gap in domestic and imported fuel costs.
