Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, has publicly distanced herself from a viral TikTok video that showed her dancing to “Omo Ologo,” a song praising President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement shared on her verified X (formerly Twitter) account, she clarified that she does not own any TikTok account, urging the public to be cautious of parody accounts.

“I do not own a TikTok account,” she posted, emphasizing the presence of fake accounts across social media platforms, including X, Instagram, and Facebook.

Akpoti-Uduaghan explained that the viral video was a manipulated version of an old 2023 clip, which had been altered with “mischievous intent” to create the impression that she was aligning herself with Tinubu’s camp.

“While I hold the President in utmost respect, I’d urge everyone to disregard the mischievous post made using an old 2023 video of mine,” she added.

The video, featuring the song by Dauda Kahutu Rarara, was reportedly recorded at a recent event attended by Tinubu in Katsina.
