Joy Mojisola Raimi, representing Osun State, has been crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025.

The 24-year-old University of Port Harcourt graduate was announced as the winner during the grand finale held at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The competition saw 37 contestants from across the country vie for the prestigious title. Ben Murray-Bruce, founder of the Silverbird Group, congratulated Raimi on her victory, highlighting her resilience and dedication to humanitarian work.

“Congratulations to Joy Mojisola Raimi on being crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Raimi, who founded “The Love for Humanity” project, shared her personal struggles during the final round.

She spoke of growing up without a mother and being bullied by her caregiver, revealing how these experiences shaped her strength. “Despite being told I would never amount to anything, I have proven otherwise,” she said.

As the new Miss World Nigeria, Raimi will represent the country at the 72nd Miss World pageant in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31, competing against representatives from 140 countries.
