Lagos State has officially inaugurated the newly renovated Iloro Primary Health Care Centre in Agege, aiming to provide residents with improved healthcare services.
The upgraded facility, which offers a range of health services, was unveiled on Friday, with government officials and health experts present to mark the occasion.
Dr. Funmilayo Bankole, Permanent Secretary for Lagos State Health District 1, praised the state’s commitment to improving healthcare across the region.
“This renovation is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that residents in Agege have access to modern, high-quality healthcare,” she said.
Dr. Olufunmilayo Ayegbusi, the Medical Officer for Agege, highlighted the center’s role in improving maternal and child health services.
“This facility is an important resource for our community. I encourage residents, especially women and children, to take advantage of the healthcare services available,” she urged.
Gbolahan Owolabi-Dada, Supervisory Councillor for Health in Agege, also emphasized the center’s importance.
“This renovation is a big benefit to our community. It’s crucial that everyone make health check-ups a priority by visiting the center regularly,” he said.
With strong community involvement at the event, the renovated health centre is expected to significantly improve healthcare access in the area.
