Hon. Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza, the Kebbi State High Court judge abducted about a week ago, has regained his freedom and returned home safely.

A family member confirmed his release on Monday, expressing gratitude for his safe return and describing the mood at home as one of celebration after days of uncertainty.

The family also thanked the Kebbi State Judiciary, security agencies, and residents of the state for their prayers, support, and solidarity throughout the ordeal.

They added that details surrounding the judge’s release would be made public at a later time.
