Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has publicly revealed that he has ceased having children outside of his marriage.
The musician made the statement during the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends show in Benin City, ahead of his performance. He said the confession was meant to clarify his past actions.
“I want to set the record straight wherever I go. I’ve stopped having children outside my marriage. I swear, anyone can confirm that I’m sincere,” 2Baba told the audience.
2Baba’s personal life has often made headlines. He has children with multiple women, including Sumbo Adeoye, with whom he shares two sons, Zion and Nino. His second baby mama, Pero Adeniyi, had three children with him.
From his marriage to Annie Macaulay-Idibia, 2Baba has two daughters. The couple divorced earlier this year. Most recently, he welcomed another child with his partner Natasha Osawaru, with whom he has a relationship that has drawn public attention.
