Isaac Fayose has announced the passing of his wife, sharing the heartbreaking news with followers on social media.
In a post on Instagram, Fayose uploaded an image of a candlelight with a brief tribute that read, “Rest in peace, my darling wife.” He later shared photos of her and penned a short farewell message in her honour.
The businessman, who is the younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, had earlier spoken publicly about his wife’s deteriorating health.
In March, during a visit to his family in Australia, Fayose revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was in a weakened state. He recounted how she had been unable to carry out everyday activities and how he stayed by her side, offering comfort by singing her favourite songs while holding her hand.
Following the announcement of her death, messages of sympathy poured in from fans and well-known personalities, including actress Yvonne Jegede, comedian Ali Baba, and veteran musician Daddy Showkey.
Many of his followers have continued to send prayers and condolences as the family mourns the loss.
