Natasha Osawaru, the fiancée of Nigerian music legend 2Baba, has responded to recent claims about her relationship with the singer, insisting she did not “snatch” him from anyone.
The Edo State lawmaker passionately defended her bond with 2Baba, stating that their relationship was founded on love and mutual respect.
“I can’t be less proud of my husband simply because of what happened to his marriage with Annie,” Natasha said in a recent statement. “I’m very proud to be his wife because my relationship with him was built on love. I didn’t take him away from anyone. I met him when he needed love, and I’ve agreed to give him all the love I have.”
Earlier this week, Natasha made headlines when she introduced herself as “Natasha Irobosa Osawaru nee Idibia” in the Edo State House of Assembly.
This led to a correction from Nigerian OAP Osi Suave, who pointed out that “née” refers to a maiden name before marriage.
In addition to her personal life, Natasha recently lost her position as Minority Leader in the Edo State House of Assembly following a shift in political power, with four PDP lawmakers defecting to the APC.
