Nigeria’s First Lady, , has celebrated fathers across the country, praising their dedication, sacrifices, and contributions to family and national development.

In a Father’s Day message issued on Sunday, she described fathers as key figures in shaping the character, confidence, and future of their children through their guidance and support.

The First Lady said responsible fatherhood plays an important role in building strong families and stable communities, noting that many fathers work tirelessly to provide for and protect their loved ones.

She also acknowledged father figures, mentors, and role models who positively impact the lives of young people, regardless of biological ties.

Oluremi Tinubu urged fathers to continue serving as sources of wisdom, strength, and inspiration to their families, while praying for God’s guidance and protection over them.

Father’s Day is marked annually to honour fathers and recognise their contributions to the upbringing of children and the well-being of society.
