The ceremony drew family members, friends, colleagues, and fans, marking the end of the life of the young musician, who passed away at 22 after battling a prolonged illness.

The final rites were emotional, with Destiny Boy’s body carried on a traditional mat to its resting place, accompanied by mourners expressing their grief. Destiny Boy’s mother, Saidat Adeshina, revealed that his health struggles began two years ago while preparing for the naming ceremony of his first child. Despite seeking both medical and traditional remedies, he succumbed to illness on January 17.

The family also addressed rumors surrounding the singer’s death, including a viral audio clip falsely suggesting his mother had cursed him. Ogun State police have since arrested a suspect in connection with his passing.
