The 2026 FIFA World Cup final will feature a star-studded lineup of global entertainers, with Nigerian music star Burna Boy, pop icon Madonna and Hollywood actor Tom Cruise among the headline acts scheduled to perform at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
The final, which will see Spain face Argentina after five weeks of competition across three host nations, is expected to attract more than 80,000 spectators at the stadium and billions of viewers worldwide.
Ahead of kick-off, Tom Cruise is billed to make a special appearance during the closing ceremony. He will be joined by British singer Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Hudson, Post Malone and popular streamer IShowSpeed.
The halftime show, making its debut at a FIFA World Cup final, is expected to be one of the tournament’s biggest entertainment highlights.
Madonna will lead the performance alongside Justin Bieber, K-pop group BTS and Colombian singer Shakira, who collaborated with Burna Boy on the tournament’s official anthem, Dai Dai.
The show will also feature acclaimed Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, a New York choir and British band Coldplay, with frontman Chris Martin serving as the event’s curator.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino has described the halftime spectacle as one of the biggest entertainment events ever staged at a World Cup.
Organisers said the performance will also support an education initiative jointly promoted by FIFA and the international advocacy group Global Citizen.
Meanwhile, United States President Donald Trump is also expected to attend the final as fans witness the crowning of the 2026 world champions.
