The Federal Government has confirmed a case of Ebola virus in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Ali Pate, said authorities have started contact tracing, saying that about 44 close contacts have been identified as part of measures to stop further transmission.
