Ayo Labinjoh, the mother of Davido’s alleged teenage daughter, Aanu Adeleke, has spoken out following a DNA test controversy.
Davido recently stated that five DNA tests showed he is not Aanu’s biological father. He also claimed he had never met Ayo Labinjoh and described her in negative terms. This came after Aanu wrote an open letter asking for a paternity test.
Labinjoh responded on her daughter’s Instagram page, saying she met Davido at HQClub and accused him of abandoning her because of assumptions about her character. She also questioned the DNA tests, claiming they were done in a lab, not a hospital, and that her daughter’s blood samples were discarded and a fake result was printed.
She added that the process affected Aanu’s mental health and accused Davido of threatening and bullying her daughter online. Labinjoh said she plans to involve the U.S. State Department to supervise an independent DNA test.
Labinjoh emphasized that her fight is for her daughter’s right to know her identity, not against Davido personally, and condemned the alleged bullying and false accusations.
