Media personality Toke Makinwa has shocked fans with her candid admission that she would consider becoming a fifth wife if given the opportunity.
In a recent episode of her podcast, Toke Moments, Makinwa shared her openness to marrying again, regardless of the number of wives already involved.
“At this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to marry again, as a second, third, fourth or fifth wife, I will take it,” she boldly declared.
Reflecting on her past marriage to Maje Ayida, which ended in 2017 due to infidelity, Makinwa spoke openly about her journey and how it has shaped her perspective on relationships.
Despite the challenges, she emphasized that she is no longer worried about societal pressures surrounding age, marriage, or having children.
“I am 40, I am single, and I am childless. I said it, and I didn’t die, and that always made me tear up,” Makinwa revealed. “I used to feel like, how am I 40 and I don’t have a child? How am I 40 and I’m single?
How am I 40, and I am alone? Listen, if I am completely honest with you guys, if I had gotten married again, I would have been divorced. Because the lessons never stop.”
