Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja has denied conducting any drug-related tests on actress Regina Daniels.
The hospital’s statement comes after a medical report allegedly showing Daniels had toxic levels of marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates, and alcohol circulated widely on social media. The report surfaced following public accusations by her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, who claimed the actress struggled with drug addiction and needed rehabilitation.
In a statement released Thursday, the hospital called the report entirely fabricated. “Our attention has been drawn to a post on an alleged MID TERM HOME DETOX REPORT being circulated online in our name regarding Mrs. Nwoko Regina,” the statement read. “We wish to state clearly that the publication and circulation of the said post did not emanate from us, and we respectfully ask the public to disregard it.”
The controversy follows Daniels’ ongoing public dispute with Nwoko, in which she has accused him of domestic abuse. The hospital reiterated that it had no involvement in any testing, urging the public not to give credence to the viral report.
