The Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla has approved the redeployment of top senior officers of the Nigerian Navy.

Spokesman for the Navy, Commodore Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja said the redeployment comprised of 56 Rear Admirals and a Commodore.

According to him, Rear Admiral Olusanya Bankole, is now the new Chief of Communications and Information Technology, Naval Headquarters,  Rear Admiral Alexander Bingel is now Director of Logistics at the  Defence Headquarters, Rear Admiral Ibrahim  is now the Chief of Defence Civil Military Cooperation, Defence Headquarters,  while Rear Admiral Kennedy Ezete resumes as the Chief of Administration, Naval Headquarters.

Others are Rear Admiral Livingstone Izu as Chief of Logistics, Naval Headquarters, Rear Admiral Musa Madugu is now the Admiral Superintendent Naval Ordinance Depot, Rear Admiral Daupreye Matthew as Director of Training, Defence Headquarters,  Rear Admiral Zakariya Muhammad as Chief of Training and Operations, Naval Headquarters and Commodore Omotola Olukoya as Chief of Accounts and Budget, Naval Headquarters amongst other senior appointments and postings.
