One Ibrahim Omo-Alijana has applied to divorce his wife, Kudirat Ibrahim, at Area Court, Center-Igboro, Ilorin, for alleged stubborn behaviour of his wife.

The respondent told the court that she could not leave her marriage after six children.

She pleaded to court to beg her husband against divorce.

The presiding Judge, AbdulQadir Umar, said that the court does not encourage divorce and always give room for settlement.

Umar thereby adjourned the case to July 12, for report of settlement or continuation of hearing.
