The United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress has announced plans to hold a solidarity rally in London in support of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The rally is scheduled for October 1, Nigeria’s Independence Day, and will be held under the banner “APC UK / Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria.”

According to the organisers, the event will begin at noon at the Nigeria High Commission on Northumberland Avenue, London.

The rally is expected to bring together APC members, supporters and Nigerians living in the United Kingdom as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence anniversary.

The organisers said the gathering would provide an opportunity for participants to express their support for Tinubu and his bid for another term in office.

The event comes amid preparations by APC UK for the 2027 general elections. In August, the chapter inaugurated its 2027 Campaign Council with a mandate to coordinate diaspora mobilisation and campaign activities for the party.
