Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Pastor Eze explained that politicians frequently visit prominent religious leaders to seek spiritual guidance, blessings, and what they perceive as divine favor ahead of critical political decisions. “Many politicians come to us before elections or major policy announcements,” he said. “They believe that spiritual insight can guide them toward success and help them win the confidence of the people.”

According to Pastor Eze, these visits are not merely about personal faith. They also serve as a form of public signaling, showing voters that leaders are spiritually grounded and connected to respected faith figures. “While spiritual counsel is important, it must be paired with integrity, sound judgment, and policies that truly serve the citizens,” he stressed.
