A 32-year-old Nigerian woman in the UK, Temitope Elizabeth Soneye Iwute, has passed away during childbirth.

Iwute d!ed shortly after earning her Master’s degree.

The Nigerians in the UK Community (NIUK Community), announced Temitope’s death in a statement on X. The community also announced the launch of a GoFundMe account to raise money to support her newborn baby and her family for her burial.

Temitope had just completed her MSc at York St John University and was eagerly looking forward to her future. Now, we ask for your help to honor her memory and support her baby’s future.
