The Supreme Court on Friday maintained that the old N200, N500, N1,000 notes remain legal tender in the country till December 31, 2023.

The seven-man justices of the apex court led by Justice John Okoro in its ruling also nullified the Federal Government’s Naira redesign policy.

The court declared it as an affront to the 1999 Constitution.
