President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, on his 72nd birthday.

In a birthday message released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised Oyedepo for his decades of service to faith, education and human development.

The President said the cleric had promoted values such as integrity, discipline, diligence, responsibility and excellence through his ministry and teachings.

Tinubu also acknowledged Oyedepo’s contributions to education through institutions including Covenant University and Landmark University, saying they have supported academic excellence, leadership development, entrepreneurship and innovation.

He noted that Oyedepo’s influence goes beyond religious activities to areas such as publishing, leadership development and humanitarian service, with Living Faith Church maintaining a presence in Nigeria and other countries.

The President also commended social initiatives linked to Oyedepo’s ministry and the David Oyedepo Foundation, including schools, healthcare facilities and programmes supporting people in need.

“Bishop David Oyedepo has devoted decades to preaching faith, promoting integrity and encouraging excellence, while investing substantially in education and the development of human capacity,” Tinubu said.

Tinubu prayed for continued wisdom, strength, good health and grace for the bishop as he continues his service to God and humanity.

He also wished Oyedepo many more years of fulfilment and continued service on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
