President Bola Tinubu has travelled out of Nigeria to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.
The President departed Abuja on Sunday for Europe, according to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
London, United Kingdom, is expected to be Tinubu’s first destination during the trip.
The vacation comes as political activities ahead of the January 2027 election are expected to intensify. Tinubu is scheduled to return to Nigeria after the break and resume his engagements, including preparations for the upcoming election campaigns.
The presidency described the trip as part of the President’s annual leave.
