Tamunosoye Karibi-George has emerged winner of Miss World Nigeria 2026 after a competitive finale held in Lagos at Balmoral Hall on June 6.
, who represented Bayelsa State, outshined 19 other contestants to secure the national title in a pageant themed Pride, Power and Purpose.
The 26-year-old, originally from Port Harcourt, impressed the judges across different segments of the competition, ultimately earning the top crown.
With her win, she succeeds Joy Mojisola Raimi and will now represent Nigeria at the 73rd Miss World Festival set to hold in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August to September 2026.
Karibi-George is also the founder of Beyond Labels, an initiative focused on supporting children with special needs and promoting inclusion and equal opportunities.
Other top finalists included Dionne Chisom Nwagbo of Anambra State, who finished as first runner-up, Shuntell Ezomo of Edo State as second runner-up, and finalists from Abuja and Rivers State.
