Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has said he will stand by any decision of the All Progressives Congress in choosing its candidate for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.
Speaking through his spokesman, Gbenga Ogunleye, Jandor noted that if party leaders decide to adopt a consensus candidate, he would fully support the outcome, no matter who emerges.
He dismissed claims circulating within political circles that a particular aspirant had already been secretly endorsed ahead of the party’s primary slated for next month. According to him, the Lagos APC leadership has made it clear that no aspirant has been favoured and that all contenders will take part in a transparent primary process.
Jandor urged party members not to mistake individual political campaigns or group endorsements as the official position of the party or its leadership. He maintained that only decisions formally communicated by the party hierarchy should be regarded as authentic.
The aspirant added that he remains committed to party discipline while continuing to engage members at the grassroots and strengthen his support base across the state. He stressed that once the party and its leaders make a final decision, members are expected to align accordingly.
